About Us ....

 Spices Valley Palace is in an ancient Nair Tharavadu, MADAPPATTU, situated in Thalanadu village in Kerala. The original building was built about 150 years ago  by the Great Sri. Govinda Pillai & Sri. Parameswaran Pillai. The owner of the Spices Valley Palace is a part of the fourth succeeding generation from those great ancestors.

These ancestors played a very crucial role in the infrastructural as well as financial development of the village and hence are also known as the mentors of Thalanadu.

The perished original building was painstakingly reconstructed from ruins in 2002-2008 without losing any of the wild features of the ancient building. Most modern amenities were incorporated into it with utmost care to make the guests feel really “at home”.

Now Spices Valley Palace is a heritage home stay approved by KTDC under Grihasthali scheme since 2006.

Your host at Spices Valley Palace is Mr.Renjith Krishna the owner, and his family which consists of his wife Dr.Aarathee Renjith & their two kids Keshu and Paru. His parents, his sister & his grand parents stay in immediate neighborhood within the same compound
